A semi-classical K.A.M. theorem

چکیده
We consider a semi-classical completely integrable system defined by a ~-pseudodifferential operator Ĥ on the torus T. In order to study perturbed operators of the form Ĥ + ~K̂ , where K̂ is an arbitrary pseudodifferential operator and κ > 0, we prove the conjugacy to a suitable normal form. This is then used to construct a large number of quasimodes.

Accurate Strategies for Small Divisor Problems
Many interesting problems in mechanics are close to systems that can be solved exactly. In such systems it is natural to consider perturbative expansions about the known system. Frequently it is possible to compute all of the terms in the expansion recursively, which can lead to expressions involving denominators that become arbitrarily small. The convergence of these expansions is difficult to...
متن کاملSemi-Classical Wavefront Set and Fourier Integral Operators
Here we define and prove some properties of the semi-classical wavefront set. We also define and study semi-classical Fourier integral operators and prove a generalization of Egorov’s Theorem to manifolds of different dimensions.
متن کاملOn Tychonoff's type theorem via grills
Let ${X_{alpha}:alphainLambda}$ be a collection of topological spaces, and $mathcal {G}_{alpha}$ be a grill on $X_{alpha}$ for each $alphainLambda$. We consider Tychonoffrq{}s type Theorem for $X=prod_{alphainLambda}X_{alpha}$ via the above grills and a natural grill on $X$ related to these grills, and present a simple proof to this theorem. This immediately yields the classical theorem...
متن کاملSemi-classical Analysis and Pseudospectra Sap2.tex
We prove an approximate spectral theorem for non-self-adjoint operators and investigate its applications to second order differential operators in the semi-classical limit. This leads to the construction of a twisted FBI transform. We also investigate the connections between pseudospectra and boundary conditions in the semi-classical limit.
